This is designed for those who would like to talk and learn about art but don’t necessarily want to take a studio class.
Everybody is welcome. To continue the outreach program while not required we appreciate your $10 per person contribution.
On selected dates and at different locations The Seabrook Land Company joins with a local business to host an evening of discussion with the Artistic Director of Studio One, Joseph Kinnebrew. He is a respected art theoretician and uncommonly approachable. Connecting the dots between the long history of art and its contemporary expression, together we pursue the meaningfulness and importance of art in our daily lives.
An RSVP is strongly recommended for the salon discussions held at the Seabrook locations. When the weather permits we may choose to gather on the beach with a warm fire. In those instances, participants are advised to bring their own chairs, blankets, etc. Please let us know if you are interested in attending, and we will provide you with additional details.
Our evenings together begins at 7 PM with an offering of non alcoholic beverages, wine, and sometimes light Hors d’oeuvres. The discussion begins at 7:30 with 45 minutes of presentation based upon the published essay followed by 45 minutes of open discussion.
