Laura Roloff and her husband Casey have quite a story to tell. First came the dream of a beach town, a community created with dedication to the environment and mutual consideration of residents and visitors. Every community has its own culture and is part of a larger one. Seabrook’s unique place in the world and its citizens are devoted to the care and evolution of thoughtful places for people and their ideas. Laura Roloff received her college degree in art and now has taken the forward step to create a place specifically for creators and those who share their dreams.
Studio One at Seabrook is the dream becoming manifest. It is first an experience and then evidence of the importance of art in our daily lives. It is about accomplishment with tactile skills along with ones of thoughtful consideration. Seabrook the community and Studio One are built to travel with you wherever you go. Joseph Kinnebrew is as uncommon among artists as artists are among all the rest of us. His accomplishments easily qualify him for what others have called a truly Renaissance man. One Man of Many Visions. As an art theorist, he believes in the relevance of fine art for everyone and has taken this message to unlikely places where listeners have learned why art is of enduring and continuing importance to all people.

Tomorrow
This is Studio One’s first season. The second season will begin in early October with the continuation of existing classes and additional ones including visiting artist mentors. Plans are underway for Studio One’s own building in the Farm District. Perhaps one day soon we may see a small campus where multiple artists using various media will continue to inspire residents and guests alike.
